Today’s Foodism: A Little Goes A Long Way

Garlic is so flavorful, so powerful, so in your face, so there—it makes no sense to say there is but a little garlic in something. It’s either there or it isn’t. Your nose knows. Your breath will know. Soon, those standing near you will know as well. It seeps from your pores and makes its presence known. This, however, is perfectly fine. Garlic is lovely (not lovely enough to dab a little fragrance behind your ear, though) and has a few health benefits to boot. So the next time, before you utter the words, “Can I get a little garlic in this dish, please?” remember: there really is no such thing as a little garlic.
