As a writer, I understand and appreciate the value of a solid plot. Well-read stories cannot be as entertaining without that interesting driving force. The same can be said for great food. When a meal can mesmerize you, lure you in and leave you spent in the end, you treat it like a bestselling novel . . . it becomes difficult for you to put it down. Curl up with a good meal and allow the story to unfurl before your very eyes.
