Today’s Foodism: Confucius Says “They Can. You Can’t.”

Like so many other things in life, I can do it; you can’t. She can say it, you shouldn’t. He can make fun of it, but’ you’d better not.  Some things are better left for the ownership (or perceived ownership) of others. Your best friend may not own that Chinese restaurant that’s within walking distance of her trendy condo, but you’ll find her in there at least twice a week … sometimes three. That’s her domain, damnit. Don’t you dare criticize it. She can—you can’t.
